The July 2018 Minnesota Women’s Press issue features the article The Growth of MetroIBA written by Nancy Breymeier, one of the founding members of MetroIBA. In the article, Breymeier provides insight into the origin of MetroIBA as well as pointing to one of the sources of its success, “The group has accomplished great things because of its collaborative nature.”
MetroIBA is an eclectic group of local, independent business owners and supporters across the 7 county metro area. This diversity and ability to come together in support of local, indie business sets us apart and achieves results. Breymeier concludes, “I think every small, independent business owner should be a member of a local organization like ours. There IS strength in numbers.”
